1.水产科技 助理研发总监Associate R&D Director I  
Reports to:   KAQ R&D Director
Location:     Zhuhai, Guangdong, China

Main Responsibilities:
1.Explore scientific literature, utilize information from the Technology Acquisitions group and the commercial landscape for new nascent products to be licensed or brought into Kemin through acquisition. 
2.Establish collaborations with universities/other research institutions in China for collaborative research, product testing trials and licensing of new molecules/ technologies for KAQ
3.Explore and network for new opportunities in the field of aquaculture within and outside of China and develop new products/technologies through acquisition, co-development and collaborations
4.Lead and manage cross-functional projects in PIP and meet the product launch timelines
5.Provide timely project updates and reports to the R&D Director and to others under the direction of R&D Director
6.Develop and manage facilities including the R&D Aqua lab in Zhuhai
7.Lead the R&D team in China and collaborate with R&D global team on projects as per requirements
8.Write technical papers, peer reviewed papers for journals and patents. 
9.Represent KAQ in scientific meetings externally and internally and in customer meetings and conferences
10.Mentor team members in accountability for deliverables, estimates, planning, follow up and tracking of various projects.
11.Perform annual performance review of staff, addressing personnel issues and solving problems. 

Job Requirement:
1.Ph. D in aquaculture or related field with 5-10 years of research and leadership experience in China and/elsewhere
2.Working knowledge and expertise in aquaculture of various species in China, nutrition and feed technology, hatchery and brood-stock technology, farming practices
3.Basic knowledge in microbiology, chemistry/biochemistry, enzymology
4.Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a proven scientific publication record
5.Experience working in cross-functional teams and commercial collaborations
6.Must be able to work independently and manage multidisciplinary teams. 
7.Requires analytical thinking, innovation, self-motivation and problem solving skills.
8.Excellent communication and networking skills.
9.A passion for scientific investigation and creative thinking.
10.Proficient in English, multilingual is a plus.
