一、Senior Business Development Manager

Location:China,Shanghai preferred

SUMMARY: The Business Development Manager works with Chinese business leaders to focus on identifying and vetting opportunities for mergers/acquisitions, partnerships, and licensing for any of our Kemin business units operating business in China. This position is responsible for coordinating our marketing Intelligence activities and presenting the strategic fit of new external opportunities, and for advising different business units and their executive teams on mergers/acquisitions best practices. This position requires close collaboration with all levels of individuals in the company to support projects that are of high strategic importance for Kemin’s growth. This position will manage 2 persons in charge of Marketing intelligence and 2 persons in charge of business development (One person with a Financial experience and one person with more technical understanding). This position will report to Pan-China council at KI.


MINIMUM EDUCATION (including licenses, certifications, designations, etc.):
1.Master’s degree with up to 8+ years of strategic marketing management experience. Or, Bachelor’s Degree, with 10+ years of previous related experience.
2.Direct mergers/acquisitions experience is required.
3.Good project management skills.
4.Fluent oral and written English skills .
5.Experienced team building and servant leadership skill.
6.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and critical-thinking skills.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 
1.Lead or co-lead projects from inception all the way to due diligence; ensure projects and potential investment are aligned with overall Kemin business strategy.
2.Maintain an updated global list of potential targets by engaging local leadership teams
3.Initiate and maintain relationships with target companies and universities.
4.Prepare and present company summaries / reports across all stages of projects to key Kemin stakeholders.
5.Develop a M&A pipeline to fit Kemin’s global and regional strategy.
6.Coordinate with Kemin business units.
7.Maintain and improve upon standard processes to conduct acquisitions, due diligence, engage investment companies, etc. and develop templates to facilitate the practical application of those standards.
8.Animate a marketing intellingence activoity in China to support the strategic marketing approach of all Kemin business units in China.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCES: 
1.Leadership or management experience
2.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment
3.Understanding of business strategy and innovation (scientific curiosity is a plus for all roles).

二、Technical Business Development Manager

Location:China,Shanghai preferred

Overview:

The Technical Business Development Manager works with upper management to focused on identifying and vetting opportunities for mergers/acquisitions, partnerships, and licensing. This position is responsible for presenting the strategic fit of new external opportunities, and for advising different business units and their executive teams on mergers/acquisitions best practices. This position requires close collaboration with all levels of individuals in the company to support projects that are of high strategic importance for Kemin’s growth.

The Technical Business Development Manager is primarily responsible for analysis and compilation of both company and technological opportunities, with a focus on analysis of the technical properties of the opportunities. Screen company technology and literature in specific areas of interest, Conduct patent and literature searches and compile information for dissemination.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.Lead or co-lead projects from inception all the way to due diligence; ensure projects and potential investment are aligned with overall Kemin business strategy

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION (including licenses, certifications, designations, etc.):
1.Master degree. Either MS or BS degree needs to be Biochemistry, and the other degree from related area (organic chemistry or life sciences). The undergraduate degree needs to be from a 985 university.
2.Direct mergers/acquisitions experience is highly preferable.

三、E-Commerce Manager 

Location: China, Shanghai  preferred

SUMMARY:  E-Commerce Manager will establish, develop and manage Kemin online flagship stores and grow brand business in the platforms.

The platforms will include 1688.com and zhue.cn in 2021, and may include TMall, Taobao, JD in the future. The role will also establish, manage and operate Kemin’s own customer E-Commerce (EC) platform.

This position will report to the Pan-China Digital Transformation leader, and work closely with TP and multiple internal business functions, including cross-BU marketing, sales, supply chain, finance, customer service, technical service, distributor team etc.


MINIMUM EDUCATION (including licenses, certifications, designations, etc.):
1.Bachelor’s Degree;
2.Major in chemistry, medical, IT, statistics, economy, finance, E-commerce, marketing, project management is a plus;

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 
1.3rd party E-Commerce platforms store daily operation and management , including EC annual strategy plan, campaign planning, pricing,promotion, merchandising, creativity, logistics, inventory, contract,invoice, order return, comments management, PPC, livestreaming, advertorials, customer service, sales talk, leads generation, etc.
2.Establishment and operation of Kemin’s own E-commerce shop;
3.EC channels lead generation and tracking;
4.EC Data analysis daily/weekly/monthly reports and improvement plan (Site traffic, MQL, SQL, GMV, Conversion, Return rate, etc);
5.Design EC CRM & loyalty program to increase RMF;
6.Private traffic and community operation。

OTHER FUNCTIONS: 
1.Competitors research and insights;
2.EC trend research, insights and reports;
3.Develop loyalty program;
4.Align with KI Digital Marketing, Corp Comm, CRM and Portal team with the branding and promotion campaigns and portals/platforms
5.Other job-related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCES: 
1.Previous corporate or agency experience in E-commerce is highly desired. At least 3-5 years hands-on online store opening and operation experience.
2.TP work experience is a plus.
3.At least 1-5 years work experience in B2B industry or work for B2B clients.
4.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and handle multiple projects efficiently in order to meet deadlines.
5.A reliable, flexible, self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor while working under pressure as there is a high level of accountability for one’s work.
6.High attention to detail, high accuracy, and some analytical abilities. 
7.The ability to present ideas effectively and communicate well with customers, vendors, peers and all levels of management.
8.Demonstrated achievement of meeting objectives.
9.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
10.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and critical-thinking skills.
11.Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  Other software may be required.
12.Must have a marketing mentality as it relates to marketing products in the industry, with the ability to gather key information and translate into an exceptional promotional piece.
